Case Study - The Common Car Park Hatfield
The expertise and knowledge from the Keyline Civils Specialist team played an important role in the specification and supply of a drainage solution for a multi-story car park in Hatfield. Tasked with finding a distributor which could supply and install an attenuation tank, Keyline were able to find a supplier who could do both.
THE ISSUE
Over the next 10 years Hatfield town centre will be redeveloped to help attract new businesses and provide more jobs for local people. To accomodate this the common car park needed to be expanded into a multi-storey car park resulting in 420 new spaces. Nationwide Engineering turned to Keyline to find a distributor that could supply and install the attenuation tank, normally this would require a third contractor to install adding another layer of contacts in the supply chain.
THE SOLUTION
Knowing this Keyline approached their supply chain partner Wavin as they were specified and knew they could provide both the attenuation crates and the installation team using their Stormforce stormwater management solution. With our great partnership we were able to coordinate all deliveries to coincide with the installers on site - allowing the project to progress with little interuption.
