Stations and platforms

We work with the most trusted manufacturers in the industry to bring you a wide range of high-performance components and systems. You’ll find:

G-Tech composite dual coper

G-Tech’s patented composite platform edging coper is the only product of its type to pass all Network Rail standards. Long lasting, simple to install and with built-in drainage management, it’s available in a wide range of varieties and finishes and incorporates platform hazard warnings.

Platform copings

Available in three standard or bespoke sizes and with white or yellow warning markings to the front edge.

Platform-edge warning paving

Has a blistered surface to act as a warning for those who have visual impairments. Available in grey, buff and charcoal.

Ceramic tactile floor tiles

These fully vitrified porcelain floor tiles contain aggregate, making them tough enough to withstand even the heaviest traffic. Available in two colours, anthracite and sand, with blister and corduroy hazard-warning profiles.

Hollowcore planks and crosswalls

FP McCann’s reinforced concrete crosswalls offer a simpler and quicker alternative to traditional masonry crosswalls, so they generally cause less disruption to track services. The design can cater for different platform widths and heavy platform loading and allows a choice of surfacing.

Modular precast platform solutions

Our range from leading manufacturer FP McCann includes: semi-modular reinforced concrete crosswalls and slabs; semi-modular precast reinforced concrete front and rear walls and slabs; and modular reinforced concrete platforms. These innovative systems are designed for faster construction than traditional materials and have been used for high-profile projects including Blackfriars and London Bridge.

Cubis STAKKAbox™ Modula access chambers

Used to give access to services on station platforms, these sectional, preformed rings are strong, quick to install and light enough to be installed by one person. Composite access covers are also available.

Cubis AX-S™ recessed covers

Ideal when you don’t want to spoil the look of a landscaped area, this high-quality range has become an industry favourite. They’re kitemarked, good value for money, safe to use and even available in different depths and bespoke sizes.

Tactile anti-slip system (TASS)

These anti-slip inserts bond permanently with most surfaces with no need for drilling. We stock both varieties: Bumpeez, tactile stainless steel studs, and Bumpetz, a stainless steel corduroy trim. Both feature coloured anti-slip resin inserts and are approved for use on overground and underground stations under LU 1-085 regulation, as well as endorsed by Network Rail.

Adhesive tactile platform hazard warning paving

An extremely hardwearing acrylic tile designed for underground and undercover platforms. Complies with the London Underground’s rigorous requirements for the surface spread of flame, toxicity and smoke density.
