Rectangular Inspection Chambers
Keyline’s range of precast concrete rectangular inspection chambers offers suitable access to drainage and cable systems. Being made of high strength concrete in factory controlled conditions there is no necessity to surround units with in-situ concrete, thus making them an economic solution to the need for access to underground utilities.

Quad for BT Openreach
The modern alternative to brick built chambers on new sites, the STAKKAbox™ Quad (formerly Quadbox) is a range of modular and structural preformed access chambers. Quad is the only modular access chamber approvedfor use on BT Openreach networks and is available in the 102, 104 and 106 sizes. The system provides contractors with a means of constructing access chambers quickly and inexpensively, whilst offering improved build quality, reduced defects and enhanced site safety performance.
Supplied in 150mm deep twinwall rings, STAKKAbox™ chambers are built by stacking sections to required depth. Each section weighs under 25kg, making it suitable for a single person to lift under manual handling guidelines. The Quad system is moulded in HDPE and possesses excellent strength to weight properties. Each section is ribbed internally to improve loading performance. Using the Quad system, complete chambers can be constructed from excavation to reinstatement in less than one hour.
STAKKAbox™ is a range of sectional, modular and structural preformed access chambers, manufactured from a range of plastic materials. Each chamber is made from 150mm deep stacking sections which interlock to offer flexibility in finished chamber depths. Sections are twinwalled and ribbed horizontally to provide a product that is strong but light in weight. Access chambers are required in networks for cable joints and turns, inspection or anywhere where access is required to network equipment.
ULTIMA is ideal for roadway installations as the material used does not suffer from creep, the process where an unsupported or non-compacted sidewall can move over time due to loading from traffic. In addition it provides a much more rigid sidewall in larger chambers and has good thermal stability in extremes of temperature. ULTIMA is available in a fire retardant material to BS 4589 and UL94 5VA. Offering extreme flexibility, ULTIMA can be fabricated to manufacture any chamber dimension.
MODULA is mostly utilised for footway installations but due to its excellent vertical load capability it can also be installed in trafficked areas, in accordance with our installation specification. It is available in two sub-types. Component Rings are assembled by combining corners (which provide 75mm or 150mm towards the sidewall length) and sidewall pieces. Sidewall pieces measure 100mm, 150mm, 300mm, 375mm, 450mm and 600mm. Chambers can be ‘brickworked’ to offset the joints and improve the overall sidewall strength. Solid rings are the most popular component ring sizes, moulded in a single solid piece.

Keyline Utilities offer a range of recycled plastic chamber sections which are manufactured from 100% recycled PVC and have been designed as a direct alternative to concrete. The system WILL NOT crack, shatter or break during transportation, storage or installation and are predominantly used as valve, hydrant and meter pits or to replace standard HIC’s. Independently tested to BSEN124 D400 loadings by Lloyds British PLC, the range is suitable for both footway and carriageway installations. Fast and simple to install and a totally load bearing chamber, our recycled chamber system is the ideal solution for any underground chamber installation.
AX-S™ range of surface covers provide customers with a complete underground network access system as they are designed and manufactured from a range of materials to complement STAKKAbox™. The AX-S™ range can be tailored to meet specified loading requirements from pedestrian up to carriageway duty and is available in a wide range of clear opening dimensions and depths.
AX-S™ Recessed Covers for covering openings in landscaped areas. The AX-S™ range has developed a reputation in the construction industry for being high-quality, safe to use, value for money and secure when installed. Recessed Covers are already specified by a large number of end users and in particular are the sole approved recessed cover for British Telecom, Virgin Media, EDF Energy and Eircom. As a result, AX-S™ Recessed Covers have been installed in many high-profile landscaped projects in the UK, Ireland and further afield.
Concrete Infill Covers
Concrete Infill access covers for use in general construction and utility projects. Our supply chain partner has been the sole supplier of this type of cover to BT Openreach since 1994 and the product is also approved by a large number of other utility operators. All covers display the British Standards Kitemark certifying them to Class B125 of BS EN124: 1994.
The covers are suitable for use in footpaths, car parks, grass verges and areas with slow moving traffic including HGV’s. Covers are manufactured in galvanised steel, are factory filled with reinforced high strength concrete and badged to customer requirements. The covers are designed with manual handling regulations in mind featuring tapered sides and centralised lifting keyholes. All steel is hot dip galvanised to EN1461 to offer a life span often in excess of 30 years. The cover range can be customised with bespoke badging and locking arrangements and any size of cover is possible.
The product has no inherent scrap value.
